Many older Malaysian houses used concrete ventilation blocks to allow air to circulate between spaces and Ming grew up in a home featuring these “breeze” blocks prominently as practical and decorative devices. The Block Series explores the spirit of these angular blocks in the form of a polished terrazzo stone bracket juxtaposed against a long rectangular column of light. These U-lights are available in two variations - black terrazzo paired with a white lamp shade and white terrazzo paired with a grey lamp shade.
